Welcome to the online home of the ghosts and haunts of the Volunteer State.
It is the mission of this site to document the ghosts and stories of Tennessee, the famous and the not so famous, the scary and the sad. Currently, we have listed over 130 different locations from over one-third of Tennessee's 95 counties. Many more will be added as they're researched.
If you have a story to add, please let us know. We'd love to research it and present it for our visitors. In the meantime, if you should have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Note: We at the Ghosts of Tennessee certainly understand when our visitors want to check out one of Tennessee's ghost stories first hand. However, we ask that if you should choose to do so you obey all laws and posted no trespassing signs as well as respecting the privacy of home and land owners. The owners of this Website do not condone, and certainly do not encourage, trespassing or the breaking of any other laws.

This site is maintained by the founding members of the Adsagsona Paranormal Society. While physically based in Nashville, Tennessee, the APS extends its membership internationally via the World Wide Web. Members consist of everyday people with a common goal and are limited only by age, with all members required to be over the age of 18.
The APS’s goals are to investigate ghosts and hauntings
in order to prove the existence of life beyond the physical realm and extending
into the spiritual, to assist others with spirit presences in their lives
while educating them on life after death, and to further paranormal research
as an acceptable scientific endeavor.
